Ah yes, OMC, the predecessor to OMD.

@kellerfuchs OMC[1] (Otara Millionaires Club) is a NZ band most known for the song "How Bizarre"[2]. They come lexicographically immediately before OMD[3] (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark), an English band that was known for some songs? "If You Leave"[4] seems to get the most ongoing play in the US. They're not really related. Not sure who I expected to get the joke, maybe @djsundog .

@djsundog @aschmitz *imagines being slapped with an avocado by the Pooptooting Queen, during the knighting ceremony.*

@aschmitz @djsundog Oh, ok. I'm just not that well-read on contemporary music :þ

(Also, not USAian at all, in case you got confused about that.)

@aschmitz @kellerfuchs @djsundog One of the handful of vinyl records I own is two remixes of How Bizarre. This post made my day :D

@aschmitz @kellerfuchs @djsundog I thought the answer would be Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Crepuscule.
