* Doctorow's "Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town" does this casually for several characters, along with several (other?) transhuman things.
* If I recall, it's common in Russia to have different vaguely related forms of names depending on context, if that qualifies, so literature from there can have similar qualities.
