More sleep seems like a good idea. 'night, Mastodon folks. 🌌

I've been listening to Will The Circle Be Unbroken again recently, and it's still pretty good (and surprisingly catchy in parts). Yes, there's a strong religious component to some of the songs, but it's not badly done.
Anyway, if you haven't listened to it, find a copy and give it a go. Maybe you'll hate it, maybe you'll love it, but it's well done and work a listen. (Recs: "Grand Ole Opry Song", "Tennessee Stud", "Will The Circle Be Unbroken", along with the rest.)

And so ends the song. I don't actually agree with the last stanza – it's entirely possible you're doing exactly what you need to. But overall it's sort of an inspiring song: there's a person who actually did all of these things, because they were there to be done.
Thanks for reading along. (See the beginning of the thread for a link to a copy of the song and more information.)
Hot chocolate mix as abrasive in laboratory glassware: a study currently underway on my countertop. Maybe I added too much.
'morning, Mastodon. It's Friday! Hopefully yours goes swimmingly. 🌞
For the record, I'm fine, just mentioning it in case anyone else feels like, y'know, unclogging a drain at the same time as occupying a room, or something.
Just a reminder: solvents + enclosed spaces + no ventilation = bad.
@djsundog If you're open to other jazz(ish?) covers, I'll throw The Glenn Miller Orchestra (led by Buddy DeFranco)'s cover of "Do You Wanna Dance" onto the pile. It's the title song from an album of covers that's surprisingly hard to find. Reviews seem pretty negative, but I like it somehow. (I'd also recommend "With A Little Help From My Friends", but couldn't find an easy link. "Wichita Lineman" is also good: nails the telegraph parts, and brushes in spades.)
I'm gonna get some sleep. It sounds like that's a good plan for some other folks here, too. Take care of yourselves. 💤
